So for those of you that have finished the program, what do you eat now? Are you vegetarians or do you eat meat? I haven't had meat since 1/4/10 and really don't miss it too much (although I do miss eggs, bread, grains, cheese and fish). I'm seriously thinking of becoming a vegetarian once I stop the program (possibly even vegan). I've been googling vegan and vegetarian websites and there's a lot of information out there but I would really like some of your input.

Also...does anyone own a Vitamix blender? I'm really interested in one and want to make sure the $$ investment is worth it. So give me your thoughts if you own one. Thanks all!

I have been on the program since 5/2/2008. I LOVE meat....steak, pork, chicken. However, I have kept it out of my diet. I mainly eat fruit, veggies, milk, honey and seafood. Once in a while I will have some grilled chicken. On Christmas Day we have prime rib and I enjoy a piece every year. :) But I definitely feel better staying away from meat.

Good luck :)

DH is a chef so when we needed a new blender, he directed me to the restaurant wholesale supply house. I asked about the Vitamix. The lady commented on the fact that they really were just expensive blenders. We got one for about $60 and this thing whips the snot out of anything we throw at it. I'd start with that first then decide if you want to upgrade.

I wish there was more info on how to do the maintenance on his program. I want to make sure that I can do it. I think that I still will want to be monitored.
